Swing Analysis Program and Tucked Elbow picture

Posted by: Kevin () on Fri May 4 09:12:50 2007

In the last picture on the ad for the 'All New Swing Analysis Program ' there is a girl in the first frame. Arrows are pointing to here rear elbow as it is too tucked(or ahead of the hands). My son does that in the video I have of him. On his good hits he doesn't, but lately there's been more weak hits and his elbow is tucked like that. I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a mechanical reason in other parts of the swing to cause that (opening up too early) or if it is just a bad habit unto itself. And any suggestions for getting a kid to stop doing that?
