Re: Heavy bag and swing plane

I have been using an old bed matress for a heavy bag. I want to work on swing plane while using it. My daughter is 9 and plays fastpitch. What I have done is propped the matress up where that the end is hanging out in the air and it really absorbs the bat well. I also want to add red or yellow strips of tape on angles in the strike zone say in 2-inch increments and have her match the angle of the bat to the strip. How is the best way to figure the different angles? Most pitches she will see are drops so the zone would be belly button down to thighs.

Get the batspeed meter.Use a tee(not necessarily a ball.Set up the batspeed meter to read batspeed at the tee.Have the bag just past where the batspeed meter reads the speed to stop the bat.Change the tee/bag meter as needed for different locations.
