slow pitch swing

I used to hit alot of homeruns with single walled bats right out of high school playing slow pitch. I'm only 30 now, and rarely hit it out with the new and improved bats that are hot. I have went to hitting middle and I hit .750 on a regular basis in tournaments. Is there anything you would suggest to get some of my power back?? Seems like only when I reach for a pitch and swing and let my top hand off the bat, is when I accidently hit one out. Any suggestions??
