where to stand in the box

Posted by: Victor (byatbryant@aol.com) on Fri Apr 26 12:01:56 2002

My coach says we should be up in the batters box during slow pitch. I feel that if we are up the high arc pitchers ball comes over the kids head. Where should we stand. Some folks say as far back as possible. I think we should at least be behind the plate or the lead foot even with the back point of home. Suggestions please e mail me. We are a 10 and under girls ASA slow pitch. also so if you have links to sites that explain this so I could print it out to the coach that would be great.
