stride

Posted by: Richard Schenck () on Thu May 9 21:00:15 2002

My sons seem to have difficulty regaining balance after striding and therefore they rotate off center. They don't get as much bat speed and the swing path is not correct. They hit under the pitch at the top of the zone and they hit on top of the pitch at the bottom of the zone. This causes much frustration and the only thing we can seem to get any consistency with is the no stride. What are the pros and cons of the no stride approach when it comes to rotational mechanics?
