Go to "Truisms and Fallacies" on this site, and read "you're pulling your head off the ball".

For the past 10 years I've tried to coax my assistants out of saying those words after a batter's follow through causes him to pull his head off the ball.

Make sure you've got a problem before you alter something to fix it.

Somebody is throwing a leather-bound rock in your direction and you're not tracking it with your eyes as it approaches? I think you probably are. Search elsewhere for solutions to your hitting problems. Have a friend video a few of your at bats and review them in slo-mo.
