I was looking at Lau's Site and I was wondering if anybody has bought the power bat, and if it produced any results.

I bought one, and haven't really liked it. In fact, I think I've used it twice -- it always seems to get tangled across the body. For resistance training I prefer using the DeMarini Chute Speed (although they are no longer on the market). This is an unbiased opinion. I have also bought Lau Jr.'s book and batting tee, and would recommend both.
