seperating

Jack, the concept of seperating the hands is not a linear concept is it? Shouldn't the hands move backward slightly (loading) in order to get them in a good position to follow the circular hand path? (i.e. moving out from the axis of the circle to the perimeter) If the hands don't move back somewhat, it does not seem that the shoulder rotation will efficently generate power; Is this correct?
