No, you shouldn't use copyrighted material, unless you have a legal right to use the material (i.e., fair use). Let's also clarify that anyone who posts on this website (or probably any website) is responsible for their post, not the web board owner. Thus, we cannot, and will not, give anyone permission to copy excerpts of any book, video or other tangible medium.

This is not to say that we cannot engage in critical analysis of another author’s ideas. We analyze the material of other authors all the time, as well as other boards analyze the material taught by Jack. However, if you decide to post the ideas of other authors, you must make sure that you have a right to use the material. We generally attempt to paraphrase a part of the material so that we can engage in critical analysis of the material and/or make a statement about the material (i.e., John Doe believes in top hand torque and says x, y, z, and I think this is correct/wrong because...) This seems to allow viewers to properly engage in analysis of the authors material.
