rql....when you played, what specifically was the AVERAGE distance of the stride foot from the plate AFTER the stride foot had landed?....1 foot, 14 or 15 inches, less than one foot?....

i know it varies from hitter to hitter, but at what was the closest distance from the plate that it would GENERALLY take for the pitchers to view this as an encroachment on their turf?
