Re: Loading

I hear a lot of talk about inward turn as well as "scap" loading. I am of the opinion that the inward turning of the hips is not nearly important as the simple act of taking the hands back while shifting more weight to the back foot. I would especially like to hear from your Guru of Hitting himself, Bart. Thanks

.To me loading is a huge part of being in a position to hit.I like scap loading, and it can be similar to taking the hands back if done right.I like to think of pulling the back elbow back behind you and it helps get your weight on the inside of your rear thigh as you stride forward. It also helps to straighten the lead arm across the chest connecting it to the lead shoulder. You may be doing just this but some may take the hands back in a completely different way and not get the right affect.
