Has anyone on this board examined Reggie Jacksons baseball swing mechanics? What do you think? Are they scientifically sound?

I think he strided a bit too far and put too much weight on his front leg but thats what Lau was teaching I think it led to an increase in strikeouts, but then it could also be that he swung violoently on every pitch regardless of the count.

> Hey Smokey the Herb,
> People like you are complete morons and idiots. It would take me a while to list all the people in the majors today who use top hand torque considering I haven't taped them all. I will list a few.
> Chipper Jones-Andruw Jones-Javy Lopez-Todd Helton-Larry Walker-Jay Payton-Mo Vaughn-Mike Piazza-Miguel Tejada-Eric Chavez-John Mabry-Vladimir Guerrero-Barry Bonds-Reggie Sanders-Jeff Kent-Brian Giles-Sammy Sosa-Lance Berkman-Jeff Bagwell-Ryan Klesko-Phil Nevin-Alfonso Soriano-Jason Giambi-Alex Rodriquez-Rafael Palmeiro-Randall Simon-Albert Pujols-Jim Edmonds-Scott Rolen-Matt Stairs-Richie Sexson-Jose Hernandez-Brett Boone-Edgar Martinez-Shawn Green-Adrian Beltre,Tim Salmon-Troy Glaus-Tori Hunter-Jacque Jones-David Ortiz-Carlos Delgado-Tony Batista-Paul Konerko-Magglio Ordonez-Frank Thomas-Jim Thome-Karim Garcia-Ellis Burks thats about all the clips I have a hitters who I view with top hand Torque, as u see mainly the good ones with the exception of Matt Stairs, he did have a 39 home-run year one year.
> There is many reasons why I don't have as many clips for hitters without top hand torque they lack the long ball. But I will not a few from my memory bank.
> Darin Erstad-Craig Biggio-David Eckstein-Scott Spezio-Kevin Millar
> Ichiro-Shinjo-Jt Snow-Juan Pierre-David Bell I just haven't had reason to video tape the rest but there are many players who seem to survive on bottom hand torque.

> The Hitman
> Hitman, I think that a front view is not as clear as a side view but could you still explain the details you saw in the clip? I have always been a big Jackson fan.If you could please tell me the specific things Jackson did that you were able to see I would appreciate it.Thank you
