Excellent post. Thanks.

While what you say is true about what "good" coaches do. The sad truth is that there are very few good coaches. The details I am talking about are taught as a package. I have seen and heard it. Go to any little league game and listen to the instructions kid receive from coaches and parents.

The problem is that on this site these details are not presented as a solution to a specific problem. They are presented as basic elements of the swing that everyone should be doing. I do not think that details are part of a vast body of knowledge that people pick from to solve a specific problem.

I wish you would sing your posts so I don't have to go to the board to find out who wrote the post I am responding to.
