Atn: Jack: advice for video

Posted by: Bart () on Wed Sep 18 08:39:49 2002

Jack, I am pleased that you are producing a new video. I have "The Final Arc". It is good but I would like to make some suggestions for your new video. Afterall, what better market research is there than feedback from customers?

(1) Use real hitters (they don't have to be pros), not sketches or cartoonish figures.

(2) Use a DIRECT side view. If time permits, a front and top view could be added as wll, but at the very least, use a DIRECT side view.

(3) Show a frame-by-frame analysis (using a real hitter)of your ideal rotational swing.

(4) Show a frame-by-frame analysis (using a real hitter)of your idea of a hitter with a linear swing.

(5) Show a frame-by-frame analysis (using a real hitter)of your concept of top hand torque in action as well as one without top hand torque.

(6) Show a frame-by-frame analysis (using a real hitter)of your concept of what bottom hand torque is.

The video should be filled with frame-by-frame analysis (using a real hitters), showing comparisons, contrasts, etc.

I know I'm only one customer, it's your site, your video, but I thought it was important for you to get suggestions that would improve clarity. To give you an example, recently, in response to Brett's questions on what bottom hand torque is, Brian suggested that he read the material at your site & re-review the tape. However, I find it amazing as to how many DIFFERENT ideas there are out there as to what is bottom hand torque, some of them conflicting, some of them making no sense at all. Yet all of these good people had done exactly as Brian had suggested: based on their interpretation of your materials & tape, everyone has their own notion of what bottom hand torque is. But with YOUR frame by frame analysis, using a real hitter, and with good detail, we will all (wheter we agree or disagree with you)have a more clear and universal understanding of what that term and other terms mean to you. (After all, it is YOU we are buying the tape from because we value YOUR knowledge, therefore we should always have a clear understanding of where YOU stand on an issue).

P.S. Since I am a prior customer will I get a discount?
