swing an axe for a couple of months. then go hit the ball. Im telling you you will see a major change in distance on your ball

When you swing an ax there are 2 swings,1 is a downward movement ,the other is up into the cut,this makes the wedge shape the axmen use.Which cut do you use when you hit.
