And is the INTERNAL ROTATION, is that what causes the bat head to point towards the pitcher in the pre-iniation stage? And let me see if I get this, the bat head goes toward the catcher because of the external rotation of the back arm not top hand torque? And BHT is loading the lead shoulder/scapula?

Griffey, JR starts with his back elbow up much like Arod. Is the purpose of doing that to LOAD the BACK SCAPULA?
yes
And is the INTERNAL ROTATION, is that what causes the bat head to point towards the pitcher in the pre-iniation stage?
yes (the Sheffield, Bonds waggle is an internal/external load/unload preswing movement 'practicing' that transition)
And let me see if I get this, the bat head goes toward the catcher because of the external rotation of the back arm not top hand torque?
or is it that tht powered by external rotation of the top hand arm
And BHT is loading the lead shoulder/scapula?
in part, but it is also the finish of the shoulder turn where the 'front' shoulder is moving back toward the catcher after the shoulders have turned past facing the pitcher. Maybe the lead shoulder scapula loading is related to the hooking hand path...
Final question: What do the hands do when hitting like this? It seems like, not much.
