batspeed and distance

Posted by: rql () on Mon Dec 30 14:52:49 2002

I got my chidren and [me] for christmas a batspeed detector and have found that I am about 12mph faster with rotational than linear. This is probably betwwe 15-20% more B.S.My question is does the ball carry in different percentages. What I mean is I believe If I could hit a ball linear 300 feet my best shot I'm sure my best rotational swing will drive the ball far more than 345-360.Anyone looked into these areas.
