Leveling out the high pitch

Posted by: George () on Sun Sep 16 22:17:59 2007

Jack. In reviewing Mike Lowell's homerun against the Yankees off Chamberlain it appeared that Lowell leveled off part of his swing to get to a highfastball for a homerun. By leveling off, I mean that lowell did not take a full upswing, but kind of tomohawked part of his swing to allow him to line his bat up/and through the ball easier. Would you agree?
