back elbow question redux

Hi Folks

I posted a question last month at the height of the holidays and will do so again in case some regular viewers missed it.

I am wondering what the videotape analysts out there have found about the back elbow among elite hitters. Is it ever ahead of the knob? I have found a wide range of positions and am soliciting the observations of others who have studied a lot of MLB video. Jack, your views are invited as always.
