Can anyone give me their thoughts on the "hit-a-way" device. It is

He lived way out in the country, his older brother had moved on and it was the only way he could get in regular batting practice. He later made all-area in high school, received a college baseball scholarship, and still plays semipro baseball at the age of 37. I am considering buying this for my daughter. I recommend it if indeed it is a sturdy piece of equipment and works as advertised. Has anybody used one yet?

> Hello, Yes, I have seen this item used. I am dugout coach for a peewee baseball league and for a little league team ( both of my sons) and we use these for our boys and girls. This greatly improves the hand-eye coordination, and confidence in players , especially in the younger players that get upset easily because they can't hit the ball easily by different pitchers. I would suggest this for all kids, especially for the ones that don't often have someone to practice with. Is even good for kids to have something to bang around to work out frustrations, and this is great for that.
