This will cause your daughter to cast the bat. There is no reason for a girl to swing a 34 inch bat unless she is 6 ft 4in tall 190 lbs. and can do 3 sets of 15 pullups, and has a vertical leap of 34 inches. There are not many girls strong enough to swing that bat, regardless of its weight. I guarantee it. And I'll be glad to prove it.

It is unfortunate that about the only way to get a non-super-light fps bat is to use a slow pitch bat and they are all 34" long.
Some of the bigger girls at D1 schools seem to be effective with them.
I emailed Candrea (Arizona St.) coach who said his girls all used 34" bats, he didn't know where to get shorter ones.
I agree that length is an overlooked but important factor in how well a bat can be swung.
Zig, where do you get your numbers? you say you can prove it, please draw out your logic/proof
