hi, teach!
no matter what your name, no matter how much money you make, no matter what you do, the LAWS of LOGIC & PHYSICS govern this world we live in..all..it doesn't say "except baseball players, who are exempt".. according to you, "It has nothing to do with more distance over which to rotate....or more distance over which to apply force.".. according to that logic, you would generate the same amount of force if you had ZERO rotation or NO distance to move as opposed to the actual distances used by hitters? you are not making any sense, teach... sorry. the forward step & torque impart much needed force to the swing... to have no torque would leave you with far less force, thus far less batspeed, thus far less power.
you need to take a course in logic at the very least...
FACT: when you name names, you are leading everyone to believe that these hitters are performing at maximum potential.. you would have us believe they can do no better than they are... FALSE!! this mentality where people say, well, he's barry bonds, so no one can imoprove on what he does.. never mind the LAWS of PHYSICS.. THEY DON'T APPLY TO THE BEST MLB HITTERS... so wrong.
FACT: the legs & where they meet the road are the base from which the greatest power flows..you would have us believe that how you position your legs prior to launch is of no importance..this goes against the LAWS of PHYSICS.. It's like saying how hard you push off with your legs when you jump has no influence on how high you go..
you need a quick course on the laws of motion.. FOR EVERY ACTION OR FORCE, THERE IS AN EQUAL & OPOSITE REACTION OR FORCE... sound familiar? that law is over 400 years old... but according to you,it doesn't apply to swinging a bat or hitting a baseball... ok!
FACT: every human being on the face of the earth, INCLUDING BASEBALL PLAYERS can all benefit from an outside objective critique of their endeavor no matter what it is.. ONLY GOD IS NOT IN NEED OF IMPROVEMENT. that is the difference between the winners & losers.. losers achieve a certain level of performance & are perfectly happy with where they are.. & do not attempt to learn more & get better... great hitters improve with age... others are out of the league.
the crime is, these guys are so insulated from people who can actually help them, we will never see them get the unbiased objective help they need to improve, like all other people on earth.. i know, except baseball hitters.
