Jack -

I greatly look forward to the next installment.

In the meantime, here is a VERY instructive 45 year old golf text that explains why "turning the back shoulder" at the start of the downswing is a fatal flaw that throws the club over the top and ruins "early batspeed".

Interestingly enough. the traditional description of "early batspeed" in golf is the ability to "hit late" which means that the wrist cock is retained until late, then the "magic" of conservation of angular momentum ("COAM") still squares the club with the hands well ahead of the club at contact.

See what you think, especially chapter 7 - starting down and chapter 8 which describes COAM and why people tend to ruch and lose early batspeed or the ability to hit late.

As for a great high resolution video example of this in action, see:

Notice how the front shoulder gets high by contact, among other things.
