Bonds hit this ball to right center (pulled it) Yet his hands appear to be going out toward shortstop before hooking in (fish hook) as in another right center homer below. Notice the left arm and elbow are against the body. The first phot shows separation or space.

My question: Should the hands initally go toward the 2nd baseman (RH Hitter) and then hook in?
