Look Bonds is the poster child of this site because he is the most rotational hitter of my time as well as griffey and many others. His hands aren't going straight to ball the ball period. And yes you may think you do one thing and do another. Some of the best hitters alive do not know what they do. If they did they would never go into slumps.
