Where should the label be facing on a wood bat when swinging? As a kid, we had the label face the catcher when the bat is held out over the plate. It seemed to have worked then.

look at the grain of the bat.....don't hit the ball against the grain,,,imagine a telephone book...hit the ball on the cover of the book not on the open page side.
