Slow pitch ? for Jack

Dear Jack,

I purchased your video a few weeks ago and am extremely happy with it and the techniques that you show. I've used the techniques and have seen a dramatic improvement in my batted ball speed and distance when I hit off a tee.
However, I play slow pitch softball and must hit the lower half of the ball to generate backspin and increase distance. Because of the downward arc, most slow pitch softball players tomahawk the ball to generate this backspin. Yet, when I examine my swing on video, tomahawking the ball goofs up the ideal wrist angle and bat angle that you teach by causing the wrists to be below the bat head instead of being above the bat head at contact.
I've played around with it and the best I can come up with is to hit the ball at waist high or below, thus maintaining the proper wrist-to-bat angle and still creating a bit of backspin by chopping the ball.
Is there anything else you propose for slowpitch players?

Thanks for your time and an excellent video.

Sincerely,

Bob
