I have been playing fastpitch for about 7 years now. I have a bet going with my chemistry teacher. I think that a softball thrown at 60 mph from 45 feet is equivalent to a baseball thrown at 90-95 mph from 60 feet. He thinks 60 mph is equivalent to about 80. Who is right?
