Teacherman-

Compare the clip in your link to another open shot of a lefty,Bernie Williams at
youthbaseball for example.

The hitter in your link oushes the hands forward early so the whole body turns forward
early and xfactor stretch/frontside stretch is suboptimal.

Notice in the bernie clip that when the fromt foot is down and the bat is about entirely in
the vertical plane,ther is better separation,the start of front side stretch (distance between
lead shoulder and lead hip stretching) and the hips have not opened much and the torso is
still turned back.
