>>Jack obviously I have no expertise with these kind of figures,but it makes sense that the more level swing though it can be hit hard cannot consistently drive the ball up and over the fence or over the heads of outfielders thus building up xtra base hits and slug%,unless they are say high ball hitters and then I would think less slope would be required to drive the ball well,just another angle to consider for certain hitters.I think the ability to consistently hit the middle of the ball hard with good mechanics is the tough teach ,and learning to adjust bat angle would be easier to incorporate than say a guy who strikes out alot in college and has a bigger slugging percentage which could come off weaker opponent pitching,because it will only get alot tougher to hit when they go to pros,so I like solid contact gap to gap hitters and build off of that.
