Hi Jim,

If one is close to the plate, and has great bat speed, he can pull every pitch.

On the inside pitch, the back arm must be tight to the body.

On the outside pitch, the arms are more extended.

Doing so will allow one to pull every pitch.

You raise some interesting points, though.
