Jack--Amended Post

Hi Jack:

What is your opinion on using the cue "squish and spin" with hitters?
When using this cue, hitters will focus on "squishing the bug on the front foot" and "spinning the top hand around the bottom hand throughout the swing."

I see that the benefits of this cue are threefold:
1) When using THT, BHT and CHP just seem to fall into place.
2) The developmental mechanics and transfer mechanics tend to fall into sync with each other
3) The front leg will be straight at contact, and the back leg will form an L at contact.

Of course, the final result of using such the tip will be maximizing bat-head velocity.

Best Wishes,
BHL
