need advice on bats

My son just made his high school jv team. He has had lots of hitting troubles over the years, although he is an excellent catcher, pitcher and 3rd baseman. Very strong for his 14 years! He needs a new bat... looking at the Stealth by Easton -3.... not sure if it's the right choice for him... any advice for a new high school player? Please e-mail soon!!! April 10
