> >>> My son is 12 years old and starting his last year of Little League. He has always hit with Linear Mechanics but we recently have started to move him into Rotational Swing Mechanics. He is doing very well with it and is hitting much better on the outside corner and hitting more powerful. The problem he is having is he chops the bottom of the ball more than he should and I am at my end with how to correct it so I figured I would get your advice on what causes the bottom chop and what can I do to help him correct it. Here is a link to his swing. http://www.mcgill.st/tannersswing1.JPG and http://www.mcgill.st/tannersswing2.JPG . Myself and 2 other dads on my team are going to be videoing our sons swings Wednesday and sending it to you for the review and correction video. Thanks for all you do, <<<

I would say from the still frames, it appears his bat is taking its downward path too far in front of the back-shoulder. It very well could still be angling downward at contact, but like I said, if this is a problem, it will show up in the video. I will point out any problem areas and remedies. Look forward to working with your son.

The views for best analysis, etc. For your convenience they will also link you to the Products Page for additional information regarding the Swing Review and you can pass the info along to the other Dads on your team you referred to if you wish.

Thanks Jack,

We are doing the videoing tomorrow and I will follow your instructions. One question, do the other dads have to buy the Final Arc II to be eligible for the Swing Analysis ??? Basically , they watched it with me as we all coach together and they want to pay for the Swing analysis for their sons as I do.

Thanks for all that you do,

JM
