(we used the knob tap technique and it make a very dull sound and vibrates alot) but on the other hand my dad thinks its not dead and gets upset when i don't use it. So, what is a sure way to tell if a bat is dead?

u kno when its dead when you hit the ball with your best swing and hit it on the sweet spot and the ball goes no were
