I know the 2006 models are coming out and was considering the Easton models Havoc 27/14 or Stealth 28/15. I'm also condiering the new TPX Dynasty 28/15.

Hey Frank,

My youngest son is 6 and also in machine pitch this year, and about the same size as your son (4'3" and 50 lbs). He uses a 27/15 Worth bat, which was handed down from my two older sons who also used this bat. They grow out of bats so quickly I wouldn't recommend putting a lot of money into a bat at this age. Find something cheap since these little guys don't generate enough bat speed to take advantage of advanced metals and designs the bat manufacturers put out today.

Good luck.
Jon
