Re: Son is in a slump

> My 11-year-old son is a very good hitter who is getting very discouraged over a three-game slum in which he has struck out--some swinging, some looking--10 of the last 12 plate appearances. I can't see anything wrong with his swing from a mechanical standpoint; this seems to be more of a mental thing, and it's getting worse with each strike out. Normally, he'd step into the box like he owned it, but now it seems his confidence is really taking a hit. Anyone have any tips to help him break his slump and regain his confidence.
