Pete Rose clip

Hi Jack.
After viewing the Pete Rose clip that you diagram his circular hand path, you say;"notice the rear arm maintaining a power V position."
"That the rear arm is being pulled and NOT driven."
My question to you is, just because the rear arm maintains a V position, why is it not possible that the rear arm can drive from that same position? I mean, I could deliver a punch from the same V position while rotating around. Don't you feel the rear arm would certainly be "driving" in that same circular path?
My point,Jack, is that since BOTH hands and arms are on the bat,why does it not make sense that one pulls and, one pushes?
