If you wait to determine pitch location before you tilt you will be late. You tilt and go the hands put the bat on plane. the shoulders will follow some but not always completly. As the hands adjust the bat to plane the shoulders will adjust slightly, but if you try to adjust the shoulders to plane that is to slow.
