4 year old switch hitter?

Posted by: Terry (onespeckledbird@yahoo.com) on Mon May 16 14:23:03 2005

We had this 4 year old kid on our tee ball team this year and his dad
would make him hit from both sides of the plate every other at bat.
He only used a tee about five times all year. I could not tell if he
was a natural lefty or righty. His dad said when he was two the kid
would sometimes pick the bat up and hold it righty and other times
lefty, on his own. My question is, is that too young for a kid to be switch hitting?
