"Bad swing" to correct my last msg. Well not that bad just not great rotational mechanics. And look at some of his 500 footers. Strength MIGHT have something to do with it. And lets not forget that the swing slows down after the bat impacts the ball. So my theory is that a stronger players bat doesn't slow down as much after impact which results in more "POP". So strength DOES make a world of difference. PUJOLS, DELGADO, THOMAS, GIAMBI, McGWIRE, THOME, not many skinny guys in the top of the HR. race. Hmmm... maybe steroids and HGH do help! Of course it helps!!!! How dare McGwire tell us that they don't help you hit a baseball. What are we idiots? If you can hit a pop fly without enhancers then you can hit a HR on them. Enough with my rant.
