Re: Looking for 33

My son is 14, soon will start his final year of PONY baseball. He is 5'10" and 160 pounds. Last year he used a 32" 24oz. bat. That's rather small for him now. He could easily move up one notch - if someone makes this size bat. Local sporting goods stores don't have it - sales clerks say that they aren't made. Does anyone know if there is a 33" bat that is a minus 7 or minus 8 ounces?

High School rules are -3 starting this year. Wouldn't it make more sense to start getting used to the bats he will have to use? I'm surprised Pony is allowing -7s or -8s at his age. Have you checked the rules for this season?
