> I apolagize in advance for this being such a long question, but here it goes. I'm 15 years old, and it seems as though I forgot how to hit. Where should I hold my hands, does a leg kick in your swing(like A-Rod) give you more power, and last one, how far back should my hands be? Please, I know its long, but answer my questions. I promise that I will work hard if you help me.

I don't like the high leg kick. It messes up your balance. I was once told by a scout the my high leg kick was old school and un-necessary. He was right. I stopped doing it and I now have a lot more power. Look on the april month discussion board at "video clips". And look at all those great hitters. Most just slide their lead leg a couple inches off the ground. Look at their hands too. They for the most part all look the same as they are hitting the ball. These clips are a great learning tool and should help you out. Tip: Copy some aspects of Griffey's swing. In my opinion it's a model swing.
