All. This year many major league hitters who usually hit are struggling. The question is why are they struggling? One thought was that the weather was a factor being how cold it was. Jack mentioned that there were swing flaws present. Others feel there is less performance enhancing in the sport. Some believe the pitching is just better. Or it could be that pitchers are pitching inside more which could explain the increase in exploding bats. Also strikeouts appear to be up as some players could strike out 200 times.

(All thoughts on why hitters are struggling are appreciated.)
