Daily Drills

Posted by: Tony (tschwartz@ups.edu) on Tue Jun 21 17:04:39 2005

Hey,

In the middle of my summer ball season now, and I would like to know about 4-5 daily drills I could do to maintain and perfect a good rotational swing. I have books with endless drills, but I want to know what are the best ones to perfect a swing. I have a personal favorite for bat control. I place a ball on a tee, adjust the position of the ball in the strike zone. I pick a target in the background, perhaps a tree or something else, and when I start my swing I point my knob of the bat to that topic, continue the swing and stop with the end of my bat pointing at the object. I hit good hard line drives and really am precise on targets. I even do this with front toss, and feel it gives me good bat control.

Again, anyone else have 4-5 good drills to do daily???

Thanks, Tony
