i want to hit line drives

Some days I hit great homers and solid base hits and other days I suck. Last year I had the second highest batting avg on my slow pitch softball team. This year I am carrying the bottom. How can I consistentl hit line drives? Is is my hip rotation? dropping my shoulder? or is it my swing? I want to hit hard and line drives, not these wussy pop ups. I am 6ft and 190. I should be able to smack the ball every time. I am right handed. Any suggestions??
