Swinging down to the ball has nothing to do with linear hitting. You can swing down to the baseball as a linear or rotational hitter. I'm not going to buy into something just because you tell me too haha. I've spent my whole life doing this is a player and now as a coach. I'm not going to all od a sudden drop what I know to be true just because someone else tells me it's so. That would leave the impression that I have not done my homework on the subject, which is not the case. The GOOD OL days that you refer to are not of linear hitting smart guy, it's ROTATIONAL hitting that you mean. So you obviously aren't in my league of discussion so I would appreciate if you left the commenting to the professionals!
