Swing problem

I am 13 yrs old and having trouble making contact with the ball during batting practice. I seem to be taking good swings but miss most of the time or will hit a lot of grounders to the oppisite field.
My coach says my swing looks ok, but I am steping in the bucket on almost every pitch.Can you give me some tips or drills to stop this from happening ?. I think I am worried about getting hit and thats why I step out. Thanks MB
