The one that comes to my mind involves a batting tee, a lighter bat and taking swings but
only using the bottom hand. ( I think you take the swings on one knee, rather than
standing) After taking enough swings like that, switch to only using the top hand, and take
some more swings. I'm guessing that his drill incorporated soft toss or live pitching.
