Another important factor is how the torso is loaded to drive the "transfer"/compound pendulum.

I think Cheetham's work is important here in terms of "x-factor STRETCH in the downswing" which is a refinement of the xfcator concept AND his "kinematic" (just measuring angular velocity/sequence of segments, not addressing the forces/kinetics that produce the summation of velocity).

Another important motionanalysis measure is the efficiency of "speed gains" from one segment to the next.
